TITLE: Gender and Macroeconomic Models: Tanzania Training Workshop The following is a report on a two-day training workshop, organized by the Tanzania Gender Networking Programme in September 2002, for selected policy and planning officers on gender and macro-economic models. The workshop dealt with key gender concepts and focused specifically on gender budgeting work in Tanzania. The workshop drew participants from Departments within the Ministry Of Finance (MoF) and the President’s Office for Planning and Privatisation. This workshop was facilitated by Debbie Budlender from the Agency for Social Enquiry, Cape Town in South Africa and Mary Rusimbi and Gemma Akilimali, from the Tanzania Gender Networking Programme. |
