This paper presented at the regional workshop on Gender and Aid Effectiveness held in Livington, Zambia in July 2007 was written by Cristina Matusse and Agueda Nhantumbo.
It describes the current situation of gender implementation program related to aid effectiveness in Mozambique. Firstly, th authors present the economic situation of Mozambique then the impact of the government commitment on gender issues, aid modalities, the coordination process, gender mainstreaming and the challenges facing the country.
