Over ten years of GRB programming at regional country and/or local level, the LAC region has produced numerous publications to support the conceptual understanding of GRB, the practical application of GRB and learning about country GRB experiences. Countries such as Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Venezuela, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Honduras, Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico have made significant efforts to institutionalize the gender approach in planning and budgeting at the national or local level, to improve women's access to basic services, to strengthen policy response to women's unpaid work and to support women's role in participatory budgeting processes at local level.
This section only provides some of the documents available in English. For more information on GRB in the LAC Region, please visit the resources in Spanish section of this website or the dedicated GRB website in Spanish maintained by UNIFEM and which was developed under a partnership between GTZ, UNFPA and UNIFEM and http://www.presupuestoygenero.net/
